Investing in quality and professionally installed flooring allows people to make real statements to the rooms and spaces in their homes. Recently, a London based client approached us as the couple wanted to do just that throughout a neutral living area in their lovely home.
We discussed using engineered wood as it is specifically designed and manufactured to maximise the natural strength and stiffness characteristics of wood. It can also be sanded, refinished, comes in a whole range of grades, finishes and colours and, above all, is extremely durable. The client then came to our London showroom in Wandsworth where our team were able to show various patterns that an engineered floor can produced in.
Made of a high-quality plywood core with a thin layer of hardwood flooring on top, the client decided on a traditional colour in an Infinite Versaille design. This flooring structure is a parquet wood flooring with an intricate and attractive interwoven pattern of floorboards that are cut into rectangles, triangles and squares. The pattern had an elegant geometry that provided great visual appeal and created a stunning style statement for the clients’ home.
