Oversized floors are wider and longer than traditional flooring and suit the current trend of open plan living. A standard wooden plank is roughly 2 metres by about 20 cms and this means rooms which are long or wide just do not get the full aesthetic benefit of a engineered wooden flooring.
Most “standard” size boards range from 18cm wide, to 2m in length. Pietra’s sizes are as follows.
- Standard Floor specification = Up to 39cm wide and up to 3m long.
- XL Floor Specification = Up to 40cm wide and 3m to 5m long.
- XXL Floor Specification = Up to 40cm wide and 5m to 7.3m long.
- XXL Floor Specification = Up to 40cm wide and 7.3m+ long.
