Choosing Your Engineered Flooring

For many people, choosing their engineered flooring can be a difficult decision.

  • What species of timber to use?
  • What grade of timber to use?
  • What width of plank to use?
  • Should i choose planks, herringbone, chevron, or a patterned floor?
  • How much will my floor cost?
  • But probably, the most important decision to make is,
  • What colour should my floor be?

When it comes to choosing your floor, Pietra can offer a completely bespoke service. We have several pre-finished floors, but if one of these is not quite the right colour, or for example, you would like a wider plank we can tailor your floor, to your needs. Think of choosing your floor colour in the same way you choose the paint for your walls. We have a selection of colours that you can choose from. We create you a hand sample from the colours you choose, and this often means producing more than one hand sample.

See image below to see a small selection from our colour range.

Once you have your hand samples, we can then apply your preferred colour choice, to a larger sample panel for your approval. This is signed off by both parties and your floor is then put into production.

We take the time to work with each individual client to create their perfect floor. This means answering all of the questions above (plus many more), providing you the client, with the floor you wanted at the price you wanted to pay.

Pease call your nearest showroom to arrange an appointment, alternatively send an email to and we will respond accordingly.
